Trinity Church in the City of Boston, located in the Back Bay of Boston, Massachusetts, is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. The church and parish house was designed by Henry Hobson Richardson and construction took place from 1872 to 1877."

"This breathtaking Episcopal Church makes for a fascinating visit, especially considering it’s location in an eclectic neighborhood. Visits can be self toured or guided, but if you choose self, you’ll be limited to the main chapel. It’ll still be worth it; just for the monstrous organ, which plays magnificently during service."

"The Church of the Covenant (a merger of Central Congregational Church and First Presbyterian Church) is a Boston landmark, built in 1865-1867 by the Central Congregational Church and now affiliated with the Presbyterian Church and the United Church of Christ. Built of Roxbury puddingstone in Gothic Revival style, it was one of the first churches to relocate in the new Back Bay and was built largely with funds donated by Benjamin E. Bates, an industrialist who founded Bates College. Designed by Richard M. Upjohn, the son & partner of Richard Upjohn, who insisted on "a high Gothic edifice ... which no ordinary dwelling house would overtop." It has a 240-foot high steeple, that overtops the Bunker Hill Monument."

"The former home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, a famous American poet, the Longfellow House is also known as Washington’s Headquarters National Historic Site. Built in 1759, the house acted as the headquarters of George Washington during the Revolutionary War in 1775 until 1776. But you can still have a great time here because the beer is outstanding and, being located in a pavilion just outside Time Out Market, you have tons of very good (if overpriced) food options."
